Executive Member of the European Board & College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (EBCOG), Secretary General of the Ukrainian Federation of Medical Organizations Andrii Tkachenko.<\/p>\n

According to Vyacheslav Kaminskyy, President of the UFMO, the goal of the Federation is to unite efforts for cooperation between the Verkhovna Rada, the relevant parliamentary committee, the Ministry of Health, and the existing professional medical associations in Ukraine to gain the right to participate in creating and implementing common standards: medical care, and social protection of medical workers.<\/p>\n

He added that the activities of the Federation would be focused on creating relations with state bodies; participation in actualizing topical issues of professional guidance; education and employment of physicians, including studying abroad. Also, we should pay attention on supporting the development of medical science, medical practice, and medical education, coordination and regulation of alternative methods and models of private medicine by creating, implementing and developing a public-state system of licensing of medical activities.<\/p>\n

People\u2019s Deputy of the VIII convocations of the Verkhovna Rada Iryna Sysoienko reported that alongside the existing ideology of the society since 1998, which is to protect the rights and quality of work of health workers. The desire to carry out proper medical reform to maintain and develop good quality medical practice, increase medical career guidance and medical prestige of the profession, promoting social activity of medical people. The Federation seeks to implement and aimed to get state support through the adoption of the Law \u00abOn SELF-GOVERNMENT OF MEDICAL PROFESSIONS IN UKRAINE\u00bb.<\/p>\n

She also stressed that the federation, being a public organization uniting public professional organizations, \u00abwill start discussions with the medical community on this future law\u00bb.<\/p>\n

In his turn, the member of FGMOU Mykola Prodanchuk noted that the Federation is trying to pay attention to a Doctor as a separate professional employee, expand professional rights and define the role of the physician in order to develop personal responsibility for the consequences of activities.<\/p>\n

The federation lines up to the examples of international conventions to be able to form a common voice of Ukrainian doctors and represent them in the Ukrainian and Euro Society, said Secretary General of the Ukrainian Federation of Medical Organizations Andrii Tkachenko.<\/p>\n

FGMOU aspires to be open to society and to implement a comprehensive approach to the principles of medical activity, which also includes medical liability insurance.<\/p>\n

The slogan of the Federation is Professional Experience, Conscious Responsibility, and International Integration.<\/p>\n
