Highlights from the National Association of Oncologists of Ukraine’s Board Meeting
On September 26, the National Association of Oncologists of Ukraine held a Board meeting. A key topic of discussion was the draft Law of Ukraine titled «On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2023» (reg. No. 8000, dated September 14, 2022).
As per Article 156 of the Rules of Procedure of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and people’s deputies of Ukraine are required to submit their proposals for the draft law on the State Budget of Ukraine for the upcoming year to the committee responsible for budget issues no later than October 1.
During the meeting, the President of the UFPMO, Viacheslav Kaminskyi, was invited as a guest speaker to present the organization’s main areas of activity and development strategy. The discussion on how to enhance cooperation with the Association of Oncologists was identified as one of the top priorities of the meeting.
