On 13 September, the II All-Ukrainian Forum of Nurses and Brothers started in Chernivtsi.
Among its organisers are the Association of Cardiovascular Surgeons of Ukraine, the Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Federation of Professional Medical Associations, the Nursing Development Centre of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Bukovinian State Medical University, and the Association of Nurses.
The nurses were addressed by Vasyl Lazoryshynets, President-Elect of the UFPMO, Director of the Amosov National Research Institute of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine; Ihor Shkrobanets, Secretary General of the UFPMO; and Kateryna Komar, Director of the Nursing Development Centre of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. “Medical self-government as a mechanism of self-regulation of the medical community is the key to its formation and development, professional cooperation, conscious responsibility and international cooperation,” said Ihor Shkrobanets, addressing the participants.
