MEMBERSHIP IN THE FEDERATION(FOR NEW MEMBERS)
Members of the Federation may be public professional medical associations, scientific medical societies, unions, and other associations with all-Ukrainian status, which recognize the Charter of the Federation, contribute to the objectives and activities of the Federation, participate in the Federation’s activities, and support it financially.
Member societies of the Federation may be staff members of enterprises, institutions, and organizations of all types of ownership, which recognize the Charter of the Federation, participate in implementing its statutory objectives, and provide financial support.
The Federation is open for cooperation with all professional medical associations of citizens, public, international, foreign, and other medical or related medicine organizations and institutions of all types of ownership.
Admission to the Federation of public professional medical associations, scientific medical societies, unions, and other associations with all-Ukrainian status as its member societies is carried out on the grounds of the decision of their elected bodies and submission of a written application to the President of the Federation:
– admission to the members of the Federation is carried out by the decision of the Chamber of Representatives of the Federation on the proposal of the President of the Federation. The decision is considered adopted if more than half of the members of the Chamber of Representatives of the Federation have voted for it;
– the Chamber of Representatives of the Federation or the body authorized by it informs the members of the Federation about the admission of a new member to the Federation within one month;
– founding members of the Federation and its member societies are full members of the Federation, have equal rights, responsibilities, and powers;
Membership in the Federation is terminated on the grounds of the decision of the member organization to leave the Federation, its self-dissolution, or expulsion:
– withdrawal of the members from the Federation is possible on their initiative, if they have settled all their liabilities to the Federation (withdrawal of the members from the Federation is carried out not earlier than three months after submission of application for withdrawal to the Chamber of Representatives of the Federation);
– the expulsion of a member from the Federation is possible on the initiative of the Chamber of Representatives, the President of the Federation, or the Board of Trustees for violation of this Charter or for actions incompatible with the principles of the Federation, as well as unjustified failure to pay membership fees for more than 1 year;
– the decision on expulsion is made by the Chamber of Representatives of the Federation by a majority vote of not less than two-thirds of the Chamber of Representatives (an expelled member organization has the right to appeal to Congress as the highest body of the Federation).
