To the medical community of Ukraine: The Ukrainian Federation of Professional Medical Associations is issuing a call to all doctors to come together and offer medical assistance to those in need. We are currently organizing the distribution of humanitarian aid in the form of medicine, medical equipment, and other necessary products to ensure that healthcare institutions can continue to operate and provide proper medical care during times of martial law. Our strength and unity have been demonstrated to the world, and we will continue to work together to provide crucial healthcare services. Glory to Ukraine!
Appeal of the UFPMO
Dear Colleagues,
The full-scale military invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine has disrupted the economic balance and requires maximum preparedness from the medical community to provide aid to the wounded. This includes both defenders of our state and civilians who are facing extremely difficult conditions of hostilities on our territory. The Ukrainian Federation of Professional Medical Associations (UFPMO) fully supports the partnership initiative of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, and the International Charitable Fund «Health of the Ukrainian People» to organize humanitarian aid in the form of medicines, medical equipment, and devices.
This aid is necessary to ensure the uninterrupted operation of healthcare facilities and provide proper medical care in the conditions of martial law. The management of UFPMO, along with the specialized medical associations that are members of UFPMO, appeals to doctors to collect information about the list and scope of needs of healthcare institutions using the free resource http:/houp.org/. We also call on the leadership of the Ministry of Health and other central executive bodies to ensure unhindered access for doctors to healthcare institutions to obtain and transfer medicines, medical equipment, and products.
Let us work together in active cooperation to ensure that we win this fight against the invasion. Together, we will emerge victorious.
