Celebrating Independence Day: A Time to Reflect on Ukraine’s Struggle for Sovereignty
The Ukrainian people have always been, are currently, and will remain independent. Since February 24th, we have come together with a shared dream of embracing our identity, independence, unique perspectives, and unbreakable spirit. From the very beginning of the full-scale war, our medical professionals have also united to combat this crisis. They are on the front lines, putting their lives on the line to save our soldiers and protect our citizens. From interns to seasoned physicians, everyone has been motivated to fight and defend, as well as preserve and rescue those in need. It is important to remember the heavy price our people paid for our freedom and independence. We must show respect and gratitude to those who sacrificed their lives for our country and our future. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to all our soldiers and doctors! We have faith in our ultimate triumph!
