World premiere of the international project «Musical thanks to doctors» «FOR THE SAKE OF LIFE»
The world premiere of «FOR THE SAKE OF LIFE» an international project called «Musical Thanks to Doctors» was held at the National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet of Ukraine, organized by the UNESCO Artist in the name of peace, conductor, and leader of the «Kyiv-Klasik» Symphony Orchestra, People’s Artist of Ukraine, Herman Makarenko.
The project committee included Herman Makarenko, Viktor Lyashko, Anatoly Zahorodniy, Vitalii Tsymbalyuk, Viacheslav Kaminskyi, Vasyl Knyazevich, Dmytro Diachuk, and Mykola Prodanchuk.
The Ukrainian Cultural Fund awarded a grant for the project, which became the primary source of financing.
The Science Center named after L.I. Medvedya of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine was the main patron and co-organizer of the project. Together with the «Kyiv-Klasik» Symphony Orchestra, they have held an annual charity concert at the National Opera of Ukraine since 2004.
The Ukrainian Federation of Professional Medicines was also involved in the project.
