On World Patient Safety Day, leading Ukrainian specialists, scientists, and practitioners, along with representatives of patient organizations, engaged in discussions about critical issues such as patient safety, reducing medical errors and harm, and creating safer working conditions for medical personnel.
During the event, Viacheslav Kaminskyi, the president of UFPMO, a corresponding member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, a doctor of medical sciences, a professor, and the head of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Medicine of the National University of Health Protection (NUOZ) of Ukraine named after P.L. Shupyka, opened a dedicated section and shared insights into the importance of safe surgery in saving the lives of both mothers and children.
