Anesthesiologists Unite: Join Us for an Educational Event to Enhance Your Practice
Recently, the European Union of Intensive Care Anesthesiologists organized an educational event in Ternopil, Ukraine. The event, named «European School of Anesthesiology», brought together anesthesiologists from different regions of Ukraine. This was one of the four such schools in the country.
The theme of the training was the respiratory tract and the functioning of the respiratory system. Yuriy Kuchin, the Chairman of the Council of Representatives of the Ukrainian Federal Medical University, a corresponding member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, doctor of medical sciences, professor, and rector of the National Medical University named after O.O. Bogomoletsa, commented that the topic of various types of respiratory support, modes of artificial lung ventilation, and their importance still remains relevant, especially during the active phase of COVID-19 and in times when there are many wounded.
Serhii Dubrov, the president of the Association of Anesthesiologists of Ukraine, and an expert of the Ministry of Health on anesthesiology, stressed that educational initiatives like this are crucial for the development of the field.
